Mashkiki Collection
In Ojibwe culture, the term ‘Mashkiki’ means medicine.
Cedar, sweet grass, sage, and tobacco are traditional medicines used for smudging; to bring us closer to the Creator, to remove any negative energy, and to cleanse our spirit.
The medicines are nestled in a beaded deer or moose hide pouch which is sewn down. (The hide backing is to protect the stitching.)
By incorporating Métis beadwork and traditional sacred medicines, these pendants have been created to bring you protection, healing, and grounding.
